Temptations.....

Temptation in Life:

Jesus was…tempted. Mt 4:1 NKJV

Christ’s temptation in the wilderness answers these two questions: 

(1) Who is tempted? Everyone! If Jesus was tempted, you’ll be tempted too. Now, you can be victorious over temptation, but you can’t pray temptation away. Satan tried different approaches with Jesus and he will do the same with you. Being tempted doesn’t mean you’re not in the will of God, it just means Satan doesn’t give up his rule in your life without a fight. The battle begins the moment you decide to serve God, and the attacks come at you every day. So, “Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes” (Eph 6:11 NIV). 

(2) When are you tempted? When you have an important role to play in God’s plan you’re a high-value target to the devil. Matthew records, “Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil.” But notice what had just taken place before this: “When He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him. And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, ‘This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased’” (Mt 3:16-17NKVJ). So temptation is a compliment; it proves you are called by God. And it’s also a confirmation; it’s evidence that you are walking in His will. Following His temptation, we read, “Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit to Galilee” (Lk 4:14 NKJV). And you will too!

The doors of opportunities are closed to them just because of the lack of a helping hand from us. 

Can we help the poor children to dream big in this century like Einstein? 

Do you think that the children around us are having enough circumstances to get educated especially in Tamil Nadu?

We can give a light of education to a child by just giving Rs.500 every month.

This project is much more than that... We are searching for the children in need of help and giving hope, love and faith to a family and a society that we didn’t even bothered about.

We are reaching out to poor children through the parishes and through that we are giving a hope and joy to the families. It is not just about finding poor children and giving details to the child support. It’s our challenge and responsibility to give them hope, love, faith and confidence, that we will continue this supporting hand till they need it.  

 
I would like to share you an experience we had today while we went for collecting the application form from one of our the parishes nearby chenglepet. We reached the parish by 7 am and the Parish Priest was ready with almost 42 application forms. We shocked to hear that and later we understood the situation there. It is a mission station of chenglepet diocese and there are lots of poor children studying in the nearby Govt. school. While we were waiting there, few children and their parents came with the application forms. One mother and kid came with application form from a very far place. Priest was explaining us about the family. Kid’s father is a drunkard and there are two children in their family. Mother is really struggling to continue with these kid’s studies. The kids are studying very well and elder one passed plus two with very good mark and priest is helping him to get an admission in college. Priest is telling that whenever they come here they used to tell the struggles to continue their life and cry. This is one of the examples. There are so many...
